Nach fünf Jahren als Medienberaterin im Medienzentrum des Kreises Coesfeld ist Karin Nachtigall am gestrigen Dienstag (19. Juli 2011) offiziell in Dülmen verabschiedet worden. Zum Schuljahresende scheidet Nachtigall, die bislang die Aufgaben gemeinsam mit Carsten Schellnock wahrgenommen hat, auf eigenen Wunsch aus. Schütt erinnerte an die beiden Medientage, die bei den Schulen auf große Resonanz gestoßen waren. Als weiteren wichtigen Tätigkeitsschwerpunkt nannte er den vom Kreis Coesfeld finanzierten Ausbau von EDMOND: Bei der „Elektronischen Distribution von Medien on Demand“ werden Lizenzen für Medien erworben, die sich alle Schulen im Kreisgebiet über das Internet für den Unterricht herunterladen können.
